Classic Membership
AAA Classic membership covers you in any properly registered four-wheel passenger vehicle driven for pleasure or recreational use. Just as a license allows a driver to drive any car, AAA membership covers you even when you are not in your own vehicle. You should carry your card with you at all times. The first person in a household who joins AAA is referred to as the Principal Member.

Adding Other Drivers in Your Household
A spouse or dependent child (under the age of 24) residing in the member’s household is not eligible to use the Principal member's membership card, but can be added to the primary membership at a discounted Associate Member rate. A separate membership card will be issued for each eligible person in the member’s household. Associate Members must select the same coverage, Classic, Plus or Plus RV, as the Principal Member. To add an Associate Member, call our Membership Department at 865-637-1910, ext. 9070.
Gift Memberships
Birthdays, Holidays, Graduations, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day – any day of the year is a perfect time to give the gift of AAA.
A AAA membership is enormously useful throughout the year. It offers all the exclusive benefits and savings that come with being an AAA member. Call our Membership Department at 865-637-1910 or 800-234-1222, ext. 9070 or visit one of our branch offices to purchase a gift membership.
Benefits of AAA Plus, AAA Plus RV, AAA Premier and AAA Premier RV
Every Classic AAA member is eligible to upgrade his or her membership to AAA Plus, AAA Plus RV and now AAA Premier and AAA Premier RV! With an upgrade of these plans, you will enjoy greatly enhanced membership benefits. There is a 7 day waiting period for Roadside Assistance benefits when adding either plan. We Respect Your Privacy
Membership entitles you to many discounts and opportunities with AAA and our preferred suppliers. From time to time members may receive information about AAA related products, services, and member discounts. If you do not wish to receive information regarding these member-only benefits, please mail your name, address, and membership number to: AAA East Tennessee, P.O. Box 1107, Knoxville, TN 37901, to request removal of the member’s name. Allow six weeks for the suppression to take effect. Please note you will continue to receive our publication, Going Places.
